UK & Ireland Trips was founded by Michael and his girlfriend, Kyra, out of a shared passion for travel and adventure. Michael hails from the historic city of Durham in North East England, while Kyra comes from the scenic landscapes of County Tyrone in Northern Ireland. With Kyra holding both British and Irish passports, they’ve always felt a deep connection to both sides of the Irish Sea.

Together, they’ve explored many corners of the globe, but their favourite destinations will always be their home countries. Over the years, they’ve travelled extensively throughout the UK and Ireland, gaining invaluable local knowledge along the way.

Their journey into helping others began when they met an American traveller in Lake Como. He shared his dream of visiting the UK and Ireland but confessed he had no idea where to start or what to see based on his interests. Michael eagerly stepped in, using his expertise to craft a tailored itinerary just for him. That moment sparked the creation of UK & Ireland Trips.
